There is liquidity in the market, but professional capital is becoming scarce

Pavel Okhonin shared his assessment of the market development at the session "Venture Capital Investments 2024: First Results" at Technoprom 2024.
He noted that activity continues to recover, but the market structure is changing.
🔹 Corporate funds continue to appear, which are more focused on internal tasks of companies. At the same time, some corporates have started to trust external managers, acting as classic LPs.
🔹 Family offices have also started to look at the possibilities of allocating part of their capital to external independent funds
🔹 Brokers and classic management companies are actively entering the private equity market, attracting funds from individuals both in individual transactions and in funds.

As far as projects are concerned, there is a general trend in the market to reduce risks and invest in more mature companies. But early-stage startups are also attracting investors. KAMA FLOW has a whole line-up of funds being formed to hold investments at different stages.
