At the Faculty of Economics of Novosibirsk State University, with the support of KAMA FLOW, the second educational course on venture investments for students, "Venture Mechanisms for Supporting Innovation Activities," has been launched. This year, not only third-year bachelor’s students, but also master’s students up to the second year are participating – with over 50 students already enrolled.
The special course offers both theoretical foundations and practical assignments from experts—Elena Obukhova, senior lecturer of the Department of Modelling and Management of Industrial Production at NSU’s Faculty of Economics, as well as KAMA FLOW speakers. The lecturers include KAMA FLOW partner Pavel Okhonin, investment managers Alexey Pavlyuchenko, Maria Korolkova, and Anna Labunets.
Within the framework of the special course, experts will talk about types and structures of venture funds, strategies for attracting LPs, fund lifecycle, and investment tools through the lens of KAMA FLOW’s experience. Methods for evaluating startups, technologies, and markets, as well as deal structuring issues, will also be covered.
Participation in the course offers students an excellent opportunity to acquire valuable knowledge and practical skills first-hand, familiarize themselves with real-life cases from the venture market, and interact with practicing industry professionals. The acquired experience will help participants take their first steps toward a successful career in the field of innovation and investment.
