The Olympiad determined the most enterprising schoolchildren in the country. The finals took place on 23 April in Moscow. Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, made an opening speech to the participants. Evgeny Borisov was a member of the jury and presented awards to the winners of the ‘Technological Entrepreneurship’ track.

‘We saw an incredible number of talented and ambitious kids who are ready from a very young age to engage in entrepreneurship and innovations. Participation in such events is a great way to support young people, develop entrepreneurial competences and show that on the entrepreneurial path it is important not only to know the theory, but also to be able to apply this knowledge in practice. I am sure that among these students we will see not only successful start-ups, but also future leaders who will influence the economy and innovation environment of the country. The Olympiad helps to create starting conditions for those who are ready not just to dream, but to turn their ideas into reality,’ said Evgeny.

The Olympiad gathered 30 teams from 42 regions of the country who presented their startups and business ideas. The event was organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Movement of the First, MIREA - Russian Technological University. Co-organisers - Sber and Our Future Foundation, partner - Sberbank's Contribution to the Future Charitable Foundation.
