On November 2, Pavel Okhonin, Executive Director and Partner of Kama Flow, spoke at the accelerator program for "national champion" companies in exchange-traded financing.

Pavel spoke about the specifics of pre-IPO financing for companies. At the moment, given the high interest rates on bank loans, capital raising is a promising source of financing for late-stage companies. In 2024, the growth of placements is expected both on the stock exchange and on investment platforms, which are characterized by a large inflow of individuals and a large amount of cash on accounts with limited investment opportunities.

"The pre-IPO market in the Russian Federation is forecast to see an increase in both supply from issuers and appetite from investors. Through private investment rounds, companies will be able to finance business growth for further flotation" - said Pavel Okhonin.
