KAMA FLOW partner Evgeny Borisov took part in the XXI sectoral scientific and technical conference of the electronics industry. As part of his speech in the session dedicated to support measures for the development of the electronics industry, Evgeny spoke about the possibility of attracting private capital to the most priority segments of the industry, outlined the main barriers to its further development from the investor's point of view, and outlined the necessary tools to encourage investors to invest in the Russian electronics market.
‘In order to overcome the challenges facing the Russian micro- and radio electronics industry, it is not enough to follow the simple reproduction of existing foreign solutions within the framework of the usual import substitution approach. It is necessary to focus on creating our own original products, from integrated circuits, processor cores and IP blocks to the final products for the consumer. Concentration of efforts of the state and private players, focused on joint financing and development of strategically important technologies, will put the industry on the trajectory of sustainable development. Therefore, in order to attract private capital, we see the need to create various incentives for investors both through public-private partnership mechanisms and support for professional funds that come into the industry,’ - Evgeny said.
