A month until the 20th Russian Venture Forum.

On March 11, the TASS Press Center hosted a press conference ahead of the anniversary Russian Venture Forum, which will take place in Kazan from April 8 to 10.

Evgeny Borisov, Partner at the investment company KAMA FLOW, spoke about the forum’s importance for the development of the venture capital market and technology entrepreneurship.

“The Russian Venture Forum is the industry event with the highest conversion rate, truly bringing together the key players of the market — from government institutions and startups to private and corporate investors. The forum’s agenda has always reflected the real demands of the industry, and we expect this to continue. In our view, special attention should be paid to issues related to artificial intelligence — as the segment still represents an unexplored ‘blue ocean’ — the role of innovative entrepreneurship in strengthening the country’s technological sovereignty, as well as the economic benefits for Russia from capital growth and business scaling,” Borisov emphasized.

The connection between the forum and Russia’s national development goals was highlighted by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova.

The regional ecosystem of technological entrepreneurship was presented by the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rifkat Minnikhanov, while the program of this year’s forum was outlined in detail by Damir Galiev, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 2026, the focus of the Russian Venture Forum will include Russia’s scientific and technological leadership, the development of the University Technology Entrepreneurship Platform and the federal project “Technologies,” as well as investment infrastructure and analysis of market development trends.
